Daily flights (2h15m), connect Lisbon to Horta airport on Faial. This is the best way to get in and visit three islands: Faial, Pico and São Jorge.
There are convenient ferry connections from Faial to Pico (15m) and São Jorge (1h15m).
If you want to visit other archipelago islands, there are daily flight connections to São Miguel, Terceira and Flores .

Azores location - Faial island
Located right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Europe and North America, the archipelago of Azores has nine islands with a total surface area of 2.300 km2 and a population of 250.000 inhabitants. Faial is part of the central group allowing an easy visit to other islands mainly Pico and São Jorge.
